Indescribable Horrors (Digital Edition)

$0.00

This free, digital e-zine began its life in 2017 when I wanted to get some experience formatting for comics. After reaching out to some of my favorite horror artists, this project immediately began a life of its own and even culminated in a successful "Quickstart" campaign. During that campaign, my dear friend Andrea Rosales (@andrealrosales) even made an amazing piece of art that adapted La Llorona, which can now be found in our book, Cuentos.

During the intervening years, I've been unsure what to do with all these amazing pieces - however, inspiration struck again one year ago, and I reached out to not only the past artists who worked on this, but new artists as well to adapt iconic moments from their favorite horror stories.

Special Thanks

Since this is a not-for-profit zine, all I ask from y'all is to support Tucson's very own pop-culture focused art space, & Gallery. They're doing a fundraiser on their Instagram (@&gallery) and so if you enjoyed this ezine, please follow and share all their stuff there. It is a queer, Chicana owned business that has given many other queer creators of color like myself the start I needed in life to get into making comics and art and writing. Without & Gallery, there can be no more work in the future quite like Indescribable Horrors.

Special thanks to Andrea Rosales, you were the first artist I reached out to for Indescribable Horrors and the first person I reached out to for Cuentos. Without you, these wouldn't exist! Thank you!
